For terrible weather and raining, the view was beautiful and serene from the resort. Lovely fish jetty and good little resort that was just renovated.

Moby Dick Resort is just the absolute best place to stay, for relaxation. The close proximity to the Clarence River and all the bird life is just amazing. Wake up to Kookaburras and Pelicans sitting on the sand bank and old jetty, just amazing. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the grounds are just beautiful, the bbq area is so well presented. I love the fact that there is a communal laundry with washer and dryer all for $3.00. Just the best place to stay at Yamba and the staff from the Managers, to the cleaning people are so helpful.

Stayed at the Moby Dick last minute on a road trip. On arrival we were made to feel welcome and we were offered a good rate for the night. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a good kitchen and bathroom. Even a lovely outside balcony leading down to the river with a picnic table on the lawn for the family to enjoy meals. Would definitely stay again, good for a motel style accommodation

Modern room, we stayed in a ground floor twin room, with a well equiped kitchenette (there was even a coffee pod machine) and gorgeous river views. We had a Queen and single bed, a two seater lounge and a dining table with 4 chairs. There was also a table and two chairs on our porch, which was private from the rooms either side of us. A good size flatscreen tv with Foxtel. The bathroom was modern and clean. Air conditioner worked well and was quiet. Parking not too far from our room. There is a sliding door out the back which leads to the lawn with chairs, sun lounges and a couple of bbqs. Lots of pelicans. A lovely place to sit and watch the trawlers and ferry go by. It’s about a 20min flat walk into town and the break wall. We really enjoyed our two night stay and hope to come back again for a relaxing break.

Great stay and waterfront location, with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. This extended to all facets including advice on places to eat, places of interest, as well as provision of a hose to clean off the vehicle after those wonderful dusty day trips. A special thanks to the Housekeeping staff for refreshing items daily and their great presentation. Our room was spacious and comfortable, would suggest more comfortable balcony chairs, though. Views are awesome, but chairs a bit hard for soaking it all up. Overall highly, highly recommended!

Amazing stay
The hotel is in an amazing position overlooking the Clarence River. There is a lovely bbq area where you can enjoy watching trawlers head out to sea and watch pelicans fly in. The unit has been recently refurbished with great views. Very quiet.

Our ground floor unit was excellent. Good size, well equipped & with great outlook over the river. Is very short drive to town centre, but in nice weather would be plesant 20-30 walk. Would highly recommend.
